Kia Ora and Welcome to Aukaha

In October 2017, KTKO Ltd celebrated our 20th anniversary. This was marked by acknowledging our achievements over this time and with the launch of our new name.

Aukaha

Originates from kia kaha, au kaha - Unite, bind together

Two men engaged in lashing, would say "kia kaha" so he pushed the line through and then as both pulled together the other would say "au kaha" (Beattie 1920b)

A good phrase to encourage people to unite and bind/work together

We believe this name reflects our way of working. Aukaha is well positioned to continue to grow from a sound base to serve its shareholders and clients. You will notice our logo has remained the same, this is a further reflection of our work and the interaction between the land and water, both of which in a healthy state are vital for our future.

Over the next few weeks we will begin the transition to our new name including updating our website and email addresses. By November 20th this transition will be completed.

We look forward to continuing to work with you and value our relationship.
